Floyd Jewell Nickens was the second child of Millard Jennings Nickens, Sr. and Essie Lucille Coates. He was born 15 Dec, 1926 at Denham Springs, Livingston, Parish, La. He married Lois Davis Johnson 21 Aug, 1948. She was born 10 Jul, 1924 at Hammond, Tangipahoa, La. She was the daughter of Louis Emerson Davis and Maude Mae Oliphant. Lois died 17 Nov, 1991 at Hammond, La. She is buried at Ford Cemetery, Loranger, Tangipahoa, La. Floyd is living.
