Glynn Elmo Nickens was the fourth child of Leslie William Nickens and Julia Louise Porche. He was born Jan, 1935 at Ravenswood, Pointe Coupee Parish, La. Glynn married Ramona Marie Melancon 18 May, 1957 at St. mary’s Catholic Church, New Roads, Pointe Coupee Parish, La. Ramona was born 13 Jan, 1935 at Ravenswood, the daughter of Lawrence Melancon and Effie Bourgeois. Ramona died 13 May, 1999 at her home. She is buried in False River Memorial Park, New Roads, Pointe Coupee Parish, La. Glynn is living.
