Isaac William Nickens was the third child of William Bennett Nickens and Roxanna Devall. He was born 02 May, 1905 in Ascension Parish, La. On 29 May, 1929 Isaac married Eunice Thelma Cambre in Ascension Parish. She was the daughter of Paul Cambre and Mamie Hamilton Fauvergne. Eunice was born 15 Mar, 1908 French Settlement, Livingston Parish, La. She died 02 Jun, 1997 and is buried in Carpenter's chapel Cemetery in Prairieville, Ascension Parish, La. Isaac died 10 Sep, 1999 and is also buried in Carpenter's chapel Cemetery.
