James Aubrey Stephens was third child of Marylee Inice Nickens and Joel Jesse Stephens. He was born 18 Dec, 1919 at Alexandria, RedRiver Parish, La. On 20 Nov, 1948 James married Gladys M. Watson at Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, La. She was born 04 Dec, 1923 at Baton Rouge, La. She was the daughter of Fred Watson and Sallie Mae Powers. Gladys died 30 Jan, 2002 at Baton Rouge. James Aubrey died 02 Jan, 2007. They are both buried at RestHaven Cemetery, Baton Rouge, La.
