Jessie Virginia Stephens was the seventh child of Marylee Inice Nickens and Joel Jesse Stephens. She was born 03 Jan, 1929 at East Point, Red River Parish, La. Jessie Virginia married Jules Mike Easterly 29 May, 1949 at the Magnolia Baptist Church. He was born 17 Feb, 1928 at Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, La. Mike was the son of John D. Easterly III and Willie Ruth McKnight. Jessie and Mike's marriage was dissolved and Mike later remarried. Jessie Virgina died 11 Dec, 1977 and is buried at Resthaven Cemetery, Baton Rouge,La. Jules Mike Easterly died 20 Apr, 2009 at St. Francesville, West Feliciana Parish, La. He is buried in Starhill Cemetery, Warnerton, Washington Parish, La.
