Jordan Nickens was the fourth child of L.B. Nickens and Mary Cockerham. He was born 1843 in St Helena Parish, La. and died 30Jul, 1878. Information on jordan’s burial is vague. He is listed as buried in both Hebron and the Nickens-Allen Cemetery in Livingston Parish. On 25 Jan, 1865 Jordan married Annerette West in St Helena Parish, La. She was the daughter of William West and Rosella Miscar. Annerette was born Dec,1844 in Livingston Parish, La. She died 24Dec, 1930 in Ascension Parish and is buried in Carpenter’s Chapel Cemetery.
