Mildred Inez Stephens is fifth child of Marylee Inice Nickens and Joel Jesse Stephens. She was born 20 Aug, 1923 at East Point, RedRiver Parish, La. Mildred married John Logel McCay, Sr. He was born 09 Aug, 1911 at New Orleans, La. No information about his parents. John died 16 Aug, 1968 and is buried at Resthaven Cemetery, Baton Rouge,La. Mildred remarried to Tommie Joyner Savage 21 Nov, 1981. He was born 01 Jan, 1915 at Hernando, Ms to Simpson Neely savage and Rowena Leotaud. Tommie died 10 Aug, 2001 and is buried at Green Oaks Cemetery, Baton Rouge. Tommie played semi pro baseball for the Pittsburg Pirates. Mildred is living.
