He was born 14 Nov, 1940 at Mamou, Evangeline Parish, La. Kowboy was the son of Ison Hebert and Rowena Reed. David "Kowboy" Hebert died 27 Jan, 2007 at Gonzales, Ascension Parish, La. and is buried in Carpenter's Chapel Cemetery, Galvez, Ascension Parish, La. Myra is living.
