Octive Mae "Tive" Nickens was the third child of Millard Jennings Nickens, Sr. and Essie Lucille Coates. She was born Dec, 1928 at Pumpkin Center, Tangipahoa Parish, La. Tive married William Nelson "Doc" Ott July, 1951. He was born 04 Apr, 1928 at Caledonia, Lowndes Co, Mississippi. William was the son Willie D. Ott and Lottie Adair. "Doc" died 26 Apr, 1994 and is buried at Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery at Aberdeen, Monroe Co. Mississippi. Tive is living.
