Adam Payne Nickens was the second child of Thomas Payne Nickens and Octavia Chiasson. He was born 02 Jan, 1918 at Chackbay, LaFourche Parish, La. Adam married Madeline Virginia Templet, date unknown. She was the daughter of Joseph Cyprien Templet and Nona Templet. Madeline was born 13 Sep, 1918 at Iberville Parish, La. She died 17 May, 1976 was buried in Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, Plaquemine, Iberville Parish, La. After Madeline's death, Adam married Mary Agnes Salita. Mary was born 11 Mar, 1923 at Brusley, West Baton Rouge Parish, La. Her parents were Tony Salita and Margaret Sanchez. Adam died 03 Dec, 1987 at Plaquemine, Iberville Parish, La. and was buried in Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, Plaquemine, Iberville Parish, La. Mary Agnes is living.
