William "Bill" Nickens was the fourth child of John Davis Nickens and Lula Erata Ficklin. He was born 25 Sep, 1906 at Gonzales, Ascension Parish, La. According to his grave marker (in Ficklin Cemetery) he died 27 Apr, 1965. The story was told to us, that soon after Bill's death, Lula died of grief. Bill had been living with her on the old home place when he was accidently electrocuted. There is no further information about marriages or children.
