Carol Monroe Nickens was the fourth child of Newman Carroll Nickens and Lydia Lodelia Singletary. He was born 08 Jan, 1923 and accidently drowned 05 Aug, 1934. He is buried in Carpenter’s Chapel Cemetery, Galvez, Ascension Parish, La
