Dorothy Lilly "Bunch" Nickens was the fifth child of Sidney Bell Nickens and Ida Roddy Persick. She was born 26 Mar, 1928 at Galvez, Ascension Parish, La. Dorothy's first marriage was to Joseph Lewis Parker. He was born 23 Dec, 1925 the son of Sarah Jane Ficklin and Thomas C. Parker. Joseph died 10 Nov, 1965 in a boating accident on the Amite river. He is buried in Ficklin Cemetery, Ascension Parish, La. They were divorced at the time of his death. Dorothy Lilly remarried to Percy Joseph Thomassie 26 Apr, 1962. He was born 20 May, 1916 at Duck Roost, La to Belizare Louis Thomassie and Regina Louise Bourgeois. Percy died 29 Sep, 1981 at Baton Rouge, La. Dorothy Lilly died 22 Mar, 2003 at Gonzales, La. Percy and Dorothy Lilly are buried Mt Zion Cemetery, Galvez, La.
