Ida Mae Nickens was the fifth child of John Davis Nickens and Lula Erata Ficklin. She was born 23Nov, 1908 at Gonzales, Ascension Parish, La. Ida married Oscar Lee Starkey, date unavailable. He was born 09Jul, 1901 in Tangipahoa Parish, La. Oscar was the son of Jasper Newton Starkey and Lula Redden. Ida Mae died 13Apr, 1980 at Hammond, Tangipahoa Parish, La. Oscar died 15Mar, 1986. Both are buried in Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery at Pumkin Center, Tangipahoa Parish, La.
