Lois Nickens was the twelfth child of John Davis Nickens and Lula Erata Ficklin. She was born 10 Jul, 1924 at Hammond, Tangipahoa Parish, La. She married Byron Rushing, date unavailable. He was born 08 Aug, 1923 at Tylertow, Walthall County, Ms. His parents were Curtis C. and Estella Rushing. Lois died 20 Mar, 1986. Byron died 14 Feb, 1989 at Springfield, Livingston Parish, La. Both are buried in Carter Cemetery, Springfield , Livingston Parish, La.
