He was the son of George W. and Adeline Beck Thibeau. James was born in Galvez, Ascension Parish, La. on 23 May, 1896. He was known as "Uncle Bap". Aunt C.B. died 05 Nov, 1966 Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, La. James "Uncle Bap" Thibeau died 14 Apr, 1974 also at Baton Rouge. Both are buried at Roselawn Memorial Park, Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, La.
